1 Corinthians 15:54

When the perishable puts on the imperishable , and the mortal puts on immortality , then shall come to pass the saying that is written : Death is swallowed up in victory .

When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
