Acts 13:22

And when he had removed him , he raised up David to be their king , of whom he testified and said , I have found in David the son of Jesse a man after my heart , who will do all my will .

After removing Saul, he made David their king. God testified concerning him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.`

And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.
