Ecclesiastes 8:15

And I commend joy , for man has nothing better under the sun but to eat and drink and be joyful , for this will go with him in his toil through the days of his life that God has given him under the sun .

So I commend the enjoyment of life, because there is nothing better for a person under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany them in their toil all the days of the life God has given them under the sun.

Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry : for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under the sun.
