Judges 1:19

And the Lord was with Judah , and he took possession of the hill country , but he could not drive out the inhabitants of the plain because they had chariots of iron .

The Lord was with the men of Judah. They took possession of the hill country, but they were unable to drive the people from the plains, because they had chariots fitted with iron.

And the Lord was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron.
