Psalms 30:5

For his anger is but for a moment , and his favor is for a lifetime . Weeping may tarry for the night , but joy comes with the morning .

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life : weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
