Summary

TruthBound is a local-first Bible study app. Your highlights, notes, journal entries, bookmarks, and reading progress are stored on your device — not on our servers. We do not sell your data or require an account.

Information we collect

Stored on your device

Bible cache, highlights, notes, bookmarks, journal entries, reading plans, themes, search history, and display preferences are stored locally using IndexedDB and browser storage. You can export backups or clear cache from Settings.

Hosted analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous, aggregated usage metrics. This does not include your journal, notes, or highlights.

Information we do not collect

• No account registration required
• No advertising identifiers
• No sale of personal information
• No upload of study content to our servers

Mobile apps

The TruthBound iOS and Android apps load the same web app at truthbound.app. They do not access contacts, photos, location, or other device sensors.
